    Liolaemus thomasi, a high andean lizard restricted to a few valleys high in the Andes of Southern Peru.
    Vicuna (Vicugna vicugna), the wild relatives of domestic llamas and alpacas, roam free over the puna grassland in the high Andes.
    Water pollution and runoff turns what should be some of the cleanest water on the planet a muddy red color.  This runoff and erosion is caused by development for the 7 color mountain a tourist attraction that has led to hasty road construction and little ovsersight to development which is causing erosion and habitat destruction of entire mountainsides and valleys.
