The galapagos giant tortoise (Chelonoidis nigra). The largest tortoises in the world occur in the Galapagos where there are 11 extant species, each unique to particular islands or portions thereof. Here one happily eats a pomelo, a fruit which does not natively occur on the islands. However it is often planted and the tortoises seem to very much enjoy the fruits.
