A bobcat (Lynx rufus) mother and kitten take a moment to sit and survey their domain at the edge of the forest.

The momcat only had this one kitten who did not yet seem to be hunting for itself as the mother brought back gophers for it. However, it is getting to the age where soon it will have to fend for itself.

A bobcat (Lynx rufus) mother and kitten walk through the forest - the kitten leads the way and mom is right behind. They paused to look in my direction for a split second before continuing on their way.
